Paso Park 3' Medal
Paso Park Medal features fences not to exceed 3’ in height. A minimum of two riders must complete the course in order for the round to qualify for points. Finals of the Paso Park Medal will be held at the Turkey Trot & Jump show. Points from shows hosting the medal between December 1 of the previous year through October 31 of the current year or at the Turkey Trot & Jump show are eligible to qualify a rider for the Finals. Any rider that has previously won the Paso Park 3’ Medal Final is no longer eligible to compete.
Paso Park 2'6 Medal
Paso Park Medal features fences not to exceed 2’6″ in height. A minimum of two riders must complete the course in order for the round to qualify for points. The top four riders (if available) in the class may be asked to work off at the judge’s discretion. Alternatively, the course designer may choose to integrate the test(s) into the posted course. Tests may include USEF equitation tests 1-17. This class may be run in either a jumper or hunter competition arena; jumper-style tack is permitted, no time allowed is to be considered. This class is open to all junior and amateur riders. Riders may not cross enter in the Lindsay Ashburn Memorial Green Rider 2’0″ Medal. Finals of the Paso Park Medal will be held at the Turkey Trot & Jump show. Points from shows hosting the medal between December 1 of the previous year through October 31 of the current year or at the Turkey Trot & Jump show are eligible to qualify a rider for the Finals. Points are to be awarded as follows: 1st – 7pts, 2nd – 5pts, 3rd – 4pts, 4th – 3pts, 5th – 2pts, 6th – 1pt. Riders with 7 points or more are invited to participate in the Paso Park Medal Final. Any rider that has previously won the Paso Park 3’ Medal Final is no longer eligible to compete.
Lindsay Ashburn Green Rider Medal
Green Rider Medal features fences not to exceed 2’ in height. Class is to be held over a hunter-style equitation style. A minimum of two riders must complete the course in order for the round to qualify for points This class is open to all junior and amateur riders who have not competed at heights above 3’. Riders may not cross enter in the Paso Park Medal. Finals of the Green Rider Medal will be held at the Turkey Trot & Jump show. Points from shows hosting the medal between December 1 of the previous year through October 31 of the current year or at the Turkey Trot & Jump show are eligible to qualify a rider for the Finals. Riders with 7 points or more are invited to participate in the Green Rider Medal Final. Any rider that has previously won the Green Rider Medal Final is no longer eligible to compete.
Cloverleaf Medal
Open to junior and amateur riders not showing in any classes over 3’7". To be judged over a jumper course of not less than 9 fences at 3’ in height. To be judged on hands, seat, guidance, and control of the horse on a jumper type of ride. There will not be a time allowed, a tone will be used to signal the rider to start the course. Any jumper type bit or equipment is allowed. Jumping penalties will be considered in accordance with USEF equitation rules. Additional work offs after the initial round will be at the judges discretion and any number of riders may be asked to test. At least 3 riders must enter and compete in the class. First and second place will qualify for the finals. Winner of the medal final class will receive a golf cart and a cooler. Prizes to 10th in the finals.
Blossom Trail Horse Shows Medal
Fences are set to 2’6 in height over an equitation style course. Tests will be incorporated into the course. Open to juniors and amateurs only. Points awarded 10, 6, 4, 2, 1, ½.
